Pure Executive are delighted to be working in partnership with The Barnes Group to appoint their first ever non-family Chair. 

The Barnes Group is a highly regarded, privately-owned set of construction-related businesses with its head office in Suffolk. Through its team of, loyal employees, of whom many have worked with the business for 20 years and more, they have created a sustainable, long-term business that makes an important contribution to the community and environment.

William Barnes has chaired the Group since 2001 and, as he is approaching 70 and has decided it is the right time to step down, the Group are now seeking an Independent Chair to oversee the organisation’s continued evolution over the next 8–10-year period.
